Hoeven: United Announces Minot Air Service to Denver (document)

RV West has announced their Readers Choice Awards for January 2010. The Minot CVB has been selected by RV West Readers as one of their favorite destinations. RV West surveyed the readers- the "keenest" RVers in Western Canada- to determine their RVing favorites. RV West is published six times a year and is packed with RV destinations, new RV products, tech tips, popular Canadian snowbird destinations and much more.

The Minot Convention & Visitors Bureau has hired Jennifer Guidinger as the new Convention Sales Manager. As the convention sales manager Guidinger will develop a marketing plan to promote Minot as a convention and meeting destination. She will be responsible for all national, regional, and statewide meetings and conventions for the Minot CVB.
Guidinger is a graduate of North Dakota State University and has lived in Minot for eight years. She was an account executive at Kranzler Kingsley before coming to the CVB.
Elly DesLauriers has moved into the Communications Coordinator position. As the communications coordinator DesLauriers will be in charge of managing social media marketing, including developing a more interactive blog on the CVB website and developing a Minot tourism presence on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. She will also maintain the Bureau's website, www.visitminot.org and help facilitate member communications and sales.
DesLauriers is a graduate of the University of North Dakota and has been with the Minot CVB since the Spring of 2007.
"The CVB is moving in a great direction," said CVB Executive Director Wendy Howe. "They both posses strong experience in their respective fields and I am excited for the year ahead."
